This week on KAM Chats, I start a conversation about making friends in Korea when coming here to teach. As someone in their mid-40s, I find that I don’t have a lot in common with the 20-somethings that are coming to Korea to teach. I enjoy hanging out with my younger peers, but in terms of longer-lasting and deeper friendships, I find that I gravitate towards older and professional members of the expat community.
In this video, I also share a few recommendations as to how to make friends when coming to teach.
